What uses credits

Portraits, full body images, panel art, scene plans, Fill in the rest, Help me write this, Story Importer text work, and similar generation or AI-writing actions. Studio, the editor, and uploads are free.

Every attempt spends credits, including ones that don't turn out — there are no refunds for a result you don't like. Contact support@charid.app and we'll figure it out.

Subscriptions

• Starter · $10/mo200 credits
• Creator · $25/mo500 credits
• Studio · $50/mo1,000 credits

Subscriptions are 5¢/credit. Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. There is no trial and no free credits. Studio, the editor, and uploads are free — only AI generation costs credits.

Credit packs

• $10150 credits
• $25375 credits
• $50750 credits

Top-up packs are for subscribers only (6.7¢/credit). Pack credits carry over and never expire. Subscription credits are spent first, then pack credits.

You can also redeem a code in Settings.

Story Importer

Story Importer is a $20/mo add-on on any subscription. It includes 1 import each month; unused imports do not roll over. Extra imports are $20 each. The add-on covers the full text pipeline (extraction, character synthesis, wardrobe/settings/props, production plan). All image generation still charges credits.
